System Installation and Deployment

Many companies believe that installation starts with the arrival of the equipment on site but at CAT we believe otherwise.

Layout

It starts with a thorough site survey. Here we look for our clients to walk us through the physical layout, any limitations on the building and their expectations of equipment scheme. From here we agree on the final set-up.

This information is then descended throughout the company - to engineers, support team and any ancillary service (e.g. line installers) and also to the key individuals in the client so they also know what it is that we need from them.

Configuration

CAT try to keep the disruption to the client to a minimum, therefore most system configuration work is done off site in our labs. After we have agreed the final system set-up with the client our engineers commence the configuration of the system, feeding back any changes or questions to the client through their account manager. The system is then soak tested for a number of days to ensure stability before delivering to the client's site and ensuring a seamless implementation.

On - site work

At CAT Communications we believer that all of our engineers should learn from the ground up that is why we are also able to offer work on cabling infrastructure down to where you would like your extension sockets or work with your in house team or suppliers. Once the basic infrastructure is in place the system will be installed and will go live on the agreed date arrived at with the client, if this needs to be done out of hours so the business is not disrupted we are more than happy to do so.

When we hire engineers we always make sure that they have a can do approach, so that there is no clock watching and we only finish when the job is finished and this includes cleaning up behind ourselves (though we do need you to tell us where the Hoover is!)

Post Installation

We believe that we are successful as a company because we don't just simply install your new system and leave you to it. We offer system training and aftercare whilst your users get used to their new system.

We also then ask our client to engage in a continuous feedback loop so that we ensure the technology is working for your business, rather than the business funding the technology and also you continue to be happy with the service which we provide.

We also offer ongoing support contracts which incorporate things such as system health checks, meaning that we are completely happy being held accountable for the work we have done.
